Just a few days ago, the game developer announced that a collaboration with KPop Demon Hunters would be making its debut in Fortnite on October 2. Now, additional information about this partnership with the popular Netflix film have been shared.
Demon Rush Mode: What to Expect
HUNTR/X's Rumi, Mira, and Zoey will confront waves of demons in the limited-time Demon Rush mode, which is a spin on Fortnite's Horde Rush mode. Rumi's Empowered Sword and Zoey's protective bubble will be useful for fending off these fiends, and bonuses inspired by the film can be obtained between each Survival Phase. This new mode starts on October 2 and continue until Nov. 1, just in time for the spooky season.
Fresh Skins and Accessories
Outfits, accessories, and emotes from KPop Demon Hunters will arrive in the Fortnite Shop, and players can finish missions from the singers to earn exclusive rewards like Mira's special ramyeon. Similar to other figures in Fortnite, the K-pop stars have also been turned into Lego versions, with Lego-style models of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey ready for use.
Options for Creators
Fortnite creators will have fun with the new update as they can use film-inspired assets, unique in-game tools, fearsome demon enemies, and the hunter characters. According to a news release, developers can design close-combat maps or remix their existing islands starting October 2.
